Arrowtown Golf Club, 166 Centennial Avenue
Transport will be provided and will depart from Rydges Lakeland Resort at 1215 hours. All golfers are asked to be present at Arrowtown Golf Club for a 1300 hours tee-off.
 
Surrounded by mountains, Arrowtown Golf course has superb views from every fairway. Each hole has its own attraction and the diverse and challenging course attracts players from all over the world.
 
Please indicate on the registration form whether you wish to hire clubs, trundler or cart. Payment of all green fees to be made at the time of registration. Hire of equipment should be paid direct to the Arrowtown Golf Club.

  • Green Fees - may be purchased for $40.00 per person (includes transport, green fees and afternoon tea).

  • Golf Club Hire - $30.00

  • Trundler Hire - $5.00

  • Carts - $30.00 for 18 holes


Nomad Safaris: Macetown

Transport will depart from Rydges Lakeland Resort on Thursday at 1330 hours.
 
Macetown: Let Nomad Safaris take you on a true off-road adventure along the Macetown road. We journey through river crossings and winding tracks that take you from river level to high above the Arrow Gorge. Arriving at the abandoned gold mining township of Macetown, you will delve into the history of this ghost town from the gold rush era, now a Department of Conservation reserve, accessible only by 4WD. Come and enjoy the 4WDing, ever-changing views, and the chance to gold pan in the Arrow River.

Fishing Afternoon
Thursday 15 November 1300–1600 hours
Transport will depart from Rydges Lakeland Resort on Thursday at 1300 hours.
Enjoy an afternoon of fishing. This fishing trip is operated by a registered fishing guide Stu Dever, who has over 20 years fishing experience. His boat, the "Chinook" is a new 34-foot high-speed purpose built luxury boat and is fully enclosed for all weather. All fishing equipment is supplied. The target fish are Salmon, Rainbow and Brown Trout.

Sail Queenstown on NZL14
Thursday 15 November 1400–1600 hours
Transport will depart from Rydges Lakeland Resort on Thursday at 1400 hours.
Join the crew and get involved, or just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Once off the dock, NZL14 motors out past the historic white beacon at the entrance to Queenstown Bay. Returning to Queenstown Bay under spinnaker, there is time to enjoy the stunning scenery and experience the magic of sailing onboard a grand prix racing yacht. Launched November 2005, the America’s Cup sailing experience aboard NZL14 is one of the most exciting activities available in Queenstown. NZL14 is not only part of New Zealand’s America’s Cup history; she also opens up a new dimension to experiencing the only sailing activity on Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding beauty.

Meet and Greet Morning Tea

Inigo Bar, Level 6, Rydges Lakeland Resort
Come along and join us for morning tea at the Rydges Lakeland Resort’s Inigo Bar. We encourage all accompanying persons to attend the morning tea in order to meet one another and receive their information bag and name tag. Morning tea will be followed by an outing and lunch. Refer below for further details. For those of you wishing to attend any of the accompanying person’s activities, please indicate your selection on the registration form.

Cooking Demonstration
Wednesday 14 November 1030-1500
Transport will depart from Rydges Lakeland Resort on Wednesday at 1030 hours.
Explore the 'art of cooking from Aotearoa' with a culinary lesson in the Whareumu (cookhouse) at beautiful Punatapu, a private villa nestled in the heart of a pristine alpine landscape. Equipped with latest Q range cookware and double dish drawers the Whareumu also features a wood fired oven, teppanyaki plate, double wokburners, deepfryer, middle eastern chargrill and outside fireplace – a must see for any cooking enthusiast. Following the cooking demonstration, lunch will be served along with a glass of wine. After lunch enjoy the beautiful, relaxed surrounding of Punatapu.

Garden/Art Tour
Friday 16 November 0900-1430
Enjoy a visit with established and world-renowned local artist Thomas Brown, whose studio/gallery is located in an historic cheese factory at Lakes Hayes. You will then be guided through a beautiful country garden, which will be hosted by the homeowner. Morning tea will follow at the delightful Millbrook Resort. After morning tea we will visit Graham Brinsley’s Studio – a self-taught artist who has been painting since he was 16. Your tour will conclude with a “Trust the Chef” lunch and a glass of wine at the Amisfield Bistro, voted The Best Winery Restaurant; Cuisine Restaurant of the Year 2006.

Private Practice Session
Saturday 17 November 0900-1200
Partners are welcome to join the Private Practice Session on Saturday morning. Please indicate on the registration form if you wish to attend.

This session is focused on aspects of private practice; in particular how new technology can assist with the running and efficiency of a modern surgical clinic. Topics to be covered include the "paperless" office, computerising a practice, and the use of portable and mobile technology. It is expected this session will be of interest not only to ENT surgeons but also those involved in practice management and administration.

There is no charge to partners attending the Private Practice Session, but please indicate on the registration form is you wish to attend
